Growing up on the South Dakota frontier, David Paulson attends Battle Creek
College, Anne Arbor Medical College, and practices medicine at Battle Creek
Sanitarium in Michigan. He and his wife Dr. Mary Paulson go to Chicago to
work in the Life Boat Mission. They start a sanitarium and medical school in
the slums of Chicago and eventually found Hinsdale Hospital in the Chicago
suburb of Hinsdale. All in the words of Dr. Paulson, experience Dr. Paulson's
passion for a life of service.
