Richard Garey's
Mark Twain Himself
"Hannibal's Theater Experience"
Experience a live encounter with humorist Mark Twain as stage
actor Richard Garey brings his acclaimed one-man show to
Hannibal for the sixth season.  Hilarious comedy and compelling
drama, this show always entertains in the Planters Barn Theater
at 319 North Main Street .  This live theater show has been
performed to great reviews in over forty states and Canada and
now makes its home in Hannibal.

In this show Garey recreates the famous Mark Twain shows of
100+ year ago.  Sam Clemens or Mark Twain was just as famous
for his shows as he was for his writing. He was a great performer
and did the shows all over the world.  Richard Garey has over six
hours of stage material at his disposal so the material varies
greatly from show to show.

All in Twain's words, Garey explores Twain's life in Hannibal, his
experiences on the Mississippi as a steamboat pilot, his
experiences in the American west, his exploration of the
Sandwich Islands, the trip to Europe and the Holy Land, and his
life with his wife Olivia and his daughters.  Laugh along with Tom
Sawyer and catch a glimpse of America through the eyes of
Huckleberry Finn.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for children and seniors, and $13 for
groups of 30 or more.
